The show was created from our reality in recent years, and from the emotional range between pain, loss and darkness – and moments of light, human connection and the power of life, stronger than anything else. Through a collection of works, the show seeks to move forward, even in moments of breakdown, to find an anchor, to hold on to hope and healing, and to search for the light – hence its name, Into The Light. The show will host special guests from the world of music, who bring a unique and original voice, and whose content and work connect to the spirit of the show. Choreography, direction and production: Natali Ravitz. Artistic direction: Dor Elder. Dancers: Natali Ravitz, Aya Gazit, Dani Ohana, Yael Aviram, Mirit Solomon, Nitzan Luk, Nitzan Noya Naim, Adi Padlon, Ron Bulgario, Yaniv Levy. Guest artists: Yonatan Artzi, Adi Avrahami, Shira Ben Simchon and more. About the creator: Natali Ravitz – an internationally trained choreographer, dancer, senior dance teacher in Israel and contemporary dance creator. Throughout her career she has created works that won awards in competitions in Israel and abroad. Natali is known for her unique style – a powerful and emotional Contemporary Lyrical, in which the words dictate the movement choices, with a deep connection to meaning. With a distinct technical DNA and sharp musicality, she creates a virtuosic movement language that combines strength, softness and a great deal of soul. Natali has a broad artistic range. Over the years she has collaborated with many artists, including Eyal Botner, Yardena Arazi, Anya Bukshtein, Adi Avrahami, Eitan Peled and more. Natali was chosen as choreographer for the musical "Romeo and Juliet" in 2015 – a production staged in several countries around the world, and presented at the Gesher Theatre. Natali was the only one from Israel chosen among the 20 finalists of the international Instagram competition (INNER ICON CHALLENGE) by American choreographer Brian Friedman (2018), and received a scholarship to take part in a dance conference founded in Los Angeles – THE MAIN EVENT DANCE EXPERIENCE, attended by leading choreographers from the US. As a creating artist, Natali has staged two original concept shows – THE COLLECTION and THE COLLECTION 2.0 – Dance Showcase, which generated interest, brought artistic diversity to the Suzanne Dellal stage, and sold out. Since October 7th, Natali has volunteered in the situation room for the missing, and also took a significant part in the Gaza Envelope situation room – established by good citizen activists who could not stand aside, and simply wanted to help wherever the state and society needed them. The situation room worked on behalf of the hostages' families, helped the evacuees and displaced, and embraced and supported the bereaved families, some of whom have stayed in touch to this day. As part of it, she initiated and led a memorial project for those murdered on October 7th, for which she also recruited the artist Eyal Botner and singer Anat Ben Hamo. Beyond the art itself, Natali sees importance and added value in donating tickets to bereaved families, out of a deep belief in the power of music and movement to touch hearts, give a moment of breathing space and comfort, and create a sense of connection and healing, even a small one, during this complicated time.
