The Best of Ennio Morricone - Candlelight Concert in Netanya

The great melodies of cinema, the soft glow of candles, and a magical atmosphere. You are invited to an evening dedicated to Ennio Morricone, the composer whose works have become an inseparable part of our favorite films and stories. On stage, musicians of the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra will perform unforgettable pieces from the films "The Legend of 1900," "The Professional," "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly," "Malèna," "Cinema Paradiso," and "Once Upon a Time in America." Ennio Morricone was one of the greatest composers in the history of cinema, winner of two Academy Awards and three Golden Globe Awards. His music manages to tell the most important stories even without words. A few notes are enough to bring us back to a moving encounter, a farewell, a first love, or a moment that changed everything. Imagine the famous piece "Chi Mai" from the film "The Professional," by the flickering light of candles. The delicate combination of strings and grand piano in pieces from "The Legend of 1900." And the heart-touching melancholy of "Cinema Paradiso," which brings us back to childhood memories and our love of cinema. In a live performance, the familiar melodies will be revealed in a range of colors - from delicate, emotion-filled sounds to a rich and powerful orchestral sound. You can close your eyes and return to your favorite movie scenes, or find your own personal story within the music. Flickering candles, strings, a grand piano, and the immortal music of Morricone. A moving musical evening that's wonderful to share with your loved ones. On stage: musicians of the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra. On piano - Georgy Kantor, pianist and winner of international competitions. In his playing, classical music, neo-classical music, and contemporary music meet, and the academic tradition receives a fresh interpretation for well-known and beloved works.
