A crazy comedy by Hristo Boychev. Adaptation, direction, and songs: Niko Nitai. Featuring: Ofir Doan, Osher Beit Halachmi, Leon Nonin, Gal Israeli, Yoav Sadovsky, Dalia River, Assaf Mor. A group of extraordinary people, forgotten by the medical establishment in a remote institution in the Balkan mountains, is awakened to a new life thanks to an unexpected gift that falls on them from the sky, and paves its own way to freedom. The play examines the boundaries of freedom of expression and offers a compassionate and amusing perspective on the role of the "madman" and the different in fulfilling the human dream. The play won the award for best play at the international competition in Britain for being "full of joy, magic, and uniqueness. It is an inspiring comic parable for our times." Reviews: "Niko Nitai directed an amusing show at every moment... Like the play and the direction, the seven actors are also excellent. They get well into their characters both as madmen and as they return to sanity on their journey to the border." [Tzvi Goren, Habama] "Nitai managed to stage this parable about madness that succeeds in feigning sanity in a mad world in a genuinely engaging way... As usual in Niko Nitai's intimate theater productions, he manages to assemble a highly enthusiastic group of actors, and together and individually they arouse great sympathy..." [Michael Handelzalts, Haaretz] "A new and interesting play... theater as impressive visual art... the acting is excellent, one by one."
