Magical Mystery Tour — a psychedelic project by The Beatles created in 1967. Its basis was Paul McCartney's idea of gathering a company of eccentric people, putting them on a bus and setting off on an improvised journey around England. The film was a crushing failure with audiences and critics, but the album released after it took a completely different path: it became a huge success and today is rightly considered one of the peaks of the psychedelic period of The Beatles. Among its most famous compositions are The Fool on the Hill, I Am the Walrus, Strawberry Fields Forever, Penny Lane and All You Need Is Love — the famous anthem of peace. Working on this album, the musicians pushed the boundaries of studio recording, both technically and artistically: they first applied the 'sound collage' technique, experimented with unusual microphone placement, deliberate vocal distortion, samples and the Mellotron. Magical Mystery Tour also influenced the industry, introducing the Double EP format with a lavish 24-page illustrated booklet. Dihaj (Diana Hajiyeva) — an Azerbaijani singer, composer, producer and multidisciplinary artist working at the intersection of jazz, modern fusion, electronica and experimental vocal art, distinguished by a unique timbre and emotionally rich performances.
