"Neighbor Protocol" — a municipal cabaret in rhyme — premiere. After years of wandering between rented, crumbling apartments, a (relatively) young couple arrives at the city's last cheap neighborhood, and discovers that the simple life isn't what they were promised. As tenants with symbolic capital but no real assets, the couple find themselves at the bottom of the Israeli food chain, where an "income-generating property" is the pinnacle of all ambitions and the true victory over our enemies. A comic-musical show in rhyme follows the couple's new life in an old building by the train tracks, their encounters with the neighbors, and the prejudice coming from every direction. Will they manage to put down roots, against all odds? Writing: Noa Eshtreicher. Directing: Tamar Kinan. Music: Yonatan Bar Giora. Acting and singing: Inbar Danon, Yossi Yarom, Nili Tzruya, Yariv Kook, and Eliad Sudai. Artistic guidance: Yiftach Leibovich. Stage design: Adam Keller. Playback and effects: Liav Bitan. Piano: Eliad Sudai. Assistant director: Tamar Pur. Featuring the neighbor's lawn choir. Photography: Yair Miyuhas.
