By Joseph Stein, based on the stories of Sholem Aleichem. Fiddler on the Roof! The greatest Jewish musical of all time. Featuring the biggest hits: 'If I Were a Rich Man,' 'To Life,' and more… In the role of Tevye the Milkman: Natan Datner, Sherry Zuriel, Shai Gabso, Kobi Maor, and dozens of actors, dancers, and musicians, accompanied by a live orchestra on stage. Tevye, a poor Jew and father of five daughters, tries to raise his family according to the commandments of religion and tradition, in a Christian environment whose influence keeps growing. He struggles with the wishes of his older daughters, influenced by the spirit of the Enlightenment, whose choice of husbands does not satisfy him. On top of his troubles at home, the family is hit by an expulsion order commanding all the Jews of the town to leave the homes where they were born and had lived. This famous musical, based on the stories of Sholem Aleichem, is presented in a spectacular production, with new and sensitive direction, accompanied by an orchestra conducted by Yossi Ben-Nun.
