The Music Center in Tel Aviv-Jaffa will host the concert "Symphonic 80s!" Modern Talking and Boney M., A-ha and ABBA, Tina Turner, Bad Boys Blue, and many more! If it's been a while since you danced to Take On Me, you know You're My Heart, You're My Soul by heart, and your palms are already itching for Life Is Life — this concert was created especially for you. Symphonic 80s — a grand return to the iconic music of the most danceable decade there is. The powerful sound of the SymFunny Orchestra, the elegant hall of the Music Center, the voices of dazzling soloists, and the most legendary hits of the 1980s. Get ready for a new scale for the old songs and a respectful approach to the arrangements. We're not trying to change what we love — we want to give it new life: deep, sparkling, effervescent like champagne bubbles, and bright as the stars above on a clear night from our childhood. For one evening, return to an era of dancing, kindness, and the belief that everything will be alright. The performers: Sofi Chudnovsky - jazz singer, multi-instrumentalist, voice actress (Netflix), vocal coach, soloist of the Haifa Big Band, resident of the Gig House club. Formerly - soloist of St. Petersburg orchestras and head of the light music department at the Elena Obraztsova Academy of Music. Arkady Fainitsky - lead singer of the "Fainitsky Band," singer-songwriter and composer, winner of the Grand Prix "Voice of the Year" from St. Petersburg's central vocal resource, performs on international stages and collaborates with companies such as Activision-Blizzard. SymFunny Orchestra is an ensemble bringing together the best musicians who immigrated to Israel from the Mariinsky Theatre and the Mikhailovsky Theatre, the Moscow Philharmonic, and the Grand Symphony Orchestra. Today they hold leading positions in the Haifa Symphony Orchestra. Rhythm section: Sergei Nikityuk, Stas Zilberman, Neri Topchyo - among Israel's leading jazz musicians, residents of the Gig House club. SymFunny Orchestra combines the power of the academic school with the freedom of jazz improvisation, creating live energy on stage. Doors open: 19:00.
