"The Power of Two" - the piano duo Alisa Kuznetsova and Anya Deykhin, winners of prizes in international competitions, presents a fascinating program for two pianos, combining masterpieces from different musical periods and styles. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart – Larghetto and Allegro for Two Pianos. A work that embodies the unique charm of Viennese classicism. The lyrical, delicate Larghetto captivates the heart with its melodic beauty and richness of expression, while the sweeping Allegro fills the hall with energy, brilliance and virtuosity. The work highlights the vivid musical dialogue between the two pianists and the eternal perfection of Mozart's music. Maurice Ravel – "Spanish Rhapsody" for Two Pianos. A masterpiece that presents Spain through the prism of French impressionism: a mysterious night, sensual habanera rhythms, vivid colors and the whirl of a vibrant celebration. Performed on two pianos, the music takes on an almost orchestral dimension – from the hushed shimmer of "Prelude to the Night" to the dazzling, blinding power of "Feria" (the festival). Refined, passionate and remarkably colorful music, from the pen of one of the great masters of musical color. Dmitri Shostakovich – Concertino for Two Pianos. A brilliant, lively work, brimming with humor, sophistication and youthful spirit. Virtuosic passages, witty exchanges of roles and colorful musical contrasts create a festive atmosphere and showcase the full capabilities of the two-piano ensemble. Sergei Rachmaninoff – Suite No. 2 for Two Pianos. One of the most important and beloved works in the two-piano repertoire. The breadth of the musical canvas, the emotional depth, the richness of the harmonies and the virtuosic writing reveal the full power of Rachmaninoff as a first-rate Romantic composer. Alexander Borodin – "Polovtsian Dances" arranged by Viktor Babin. Powerful, sweeping music inspired by folk motifs and Eastern colors. The driving rhythms and dramatic contrasts create a rich, unforgettable musical picture, filled with energy and passion. The concert promises a rich and moving musical experience for all lovers of classical music. The combination of masterpieces, a variety of styles and a high level of performance will give the audience an unforgettable evening of beauty, inspiration and emotion.
