You're invited to a special candlelight concert, featuring unforgettable music from beloved films. The beauty of a string quintet's sound meets the magic of one of the most beautiful monasteries in Israel. On the open terrace overlooking the sea, lit by hundreds of candles, music that touches the heart will play. The evening will include the most romantic and moving music from iconic films: "Titanic", "Harry Potter", "Dirty Dancing", "The Lion King", "Schindler's List", "Breakfast at Tiffany's" and many more. Melodies we all know — written by the great composers of our time: Hans Zimmer, John Williams, Yann Tiersen, Justin Hurwitz — composed especially for films that have become part of our lives. But it's not just about the awards. When these sounds play, we return to the worlds of characters, moments and stories. To the magical deck of "Titanic", to Harry's first flight on a broomstick, to the first meeting with little Simba. Performed live by a string quintet — this music comes alive. Touching. Glowing among the candles. Sea. Candles. Music. Everything you need to stop time. Beauty that draws you in. And music that truly touches you. The concert features musicians from the Rishon LeZion Orchestra (the Israeli Opera's orchestra) and from the Philharmonic Orchestra. Please note: the concert takes place in an open area within an ancient monastery near the sea. Evenings by the sea can be cool, so we recommend bringing a light scarf or something warm in case of cool weather. Also note that there is no bar or café within the monastery grounds. Entrance to the monastery is from the Jaffa promenade side, not through the Old City. See you among the candles, the music and the sea of the evening.
