The Israeli Hour Theater presents: a one-man show combined with multimedia — The Fisherman and the Goldfish. Our story takes place in a fishing town on a small island in Greece, where all the residents are simple people living modestly, without any modern conveniences. No televisions, no cars — a simple, pleasant life where everyone is everyone's friend and content with their lot. One day, the boy Esteban pulls a seashell from the sea, and when he blows into it, a talking goldfish rises from the water. In exchange for its freedom, the goldfish — Zahavon — promises to grant all of Esteban's wishes. When Esteban's friends, the village residents, discover the wonder, their requests keep growing, and the modest island becomes cluttered with cars, useless objects, and pollution in the sea and on the beaches. Esteban realizes that the residents' excessive greed is damaging the environment and their good friendship, and it nearly kills Zahavon — so he asks for one final wish that ensures the story's happy ending.
