The Little Mermaid — a celebration at the Agam Museum for children and the whole family. Thursday, October 1, during Sukkot, at 11:00 and 13:00. Come dive with us into the depths of the sea to discover the wondrous instruments and sounds of the deep, in a live, high-quality, breathtaking musical performance. Deep in the sea, far from human eyes, lives a curious mermaid with a special gift for singing, whose greatest dream is to rise above the surface of the sea. Her curiosity and longing for the unknown lead her to a luxury ship, where she falls in love with a prince at first sight. Out of love for the prince, she gives up her voice and her life in the depths and sets out on a bold journey between two worlds. This is a story of love, courage and longing, told through a musical concert for the whole family — including one witch.... On the program: songs from the famous musical 'The Little Mermaid,' 'My Wild Dream,' Saint-Saëns' 'The Swan' and 'The Aquarium,' percussion, water, and more. Featuring: Chen Zimbalista — musical direction, conductor and percussion; Omer Hillel — singer and actor; Kobi Lilian — piano and arrangements; Dmitri Shchelkin — percussion, soloist of the Rishon LeZion Symphony Orchestra; Alma Dance Company; choreography: Varda Shuval.
