The Israeli HaSha'a Theatre, together with Haifa Theatre, presents: the comedy bomb that took France by storm, in a new version! By Matthieu Delaporte and Alexandre de La Patellière, directed by Moshe Kaftan. It was supposed to be a pleasant, cozy Parisian evening at home with family and friends — Elisabeth prepared a special meal for everyone to enjoy: Pierre, her husband, a literature professor; Vincent, her brother, who has finally found the woman of his dreams, Anna, and is about to become a father; and their best friend Claude, a trombone player. Above them all also hovers the loving shadow of the family's mother, who lives far away in the village and wraps them all in love and generosity. Except the evening takes a completely different turn, and none of those present will ever forget it. It begins with a game led by Vincent, the father-to-be, in which everyone is asked to guess the first name he has chosen for the baby about to be born. What happens when the hero of the comedy decides to name his son Adolphe??? A sharp, surprising play. It is currently enjoying dazzling success in Paris and has even been made into a film. Its two writers are among the leading satirists who write regularly for French television. Directed by: Moshe Kaftan. Assistant director: Mordi Gershon. Set design: Roi Vaturi. Costumes: Omer Yehav. Music: Aviv Koren. Lighting: Matan Preminger. Cast: Galit Giat, Ben Peretti, Amir Kryaf, Yarden Bracha, Yoav Bar-Lev.
