"One stormy night abroad, one old passion — and the emotional price that always comes with it." A young Jewish-American woman who fulfilled her dream and made aliyah is going through an adjustment crisis after marrying and starting a family in Israel. Unexpectedly, she discovers that the first Israeli man she ever fell in love with is now living in the United States, relocated there with his family. A charged encounter between them during one stormy night becomes, for her, an attempt to recreate the dream of "the Israeli man," surfacing the dream and heartbreak of life abroad. The Potchim Bama (Opening the Stage) reading festival, now in its 27th year, at the Beit Lessin Theater.
