Celebrating Nurit Hirsh's 84th birthday! "Israel Prize — The Music, The Winners, The Memories." Celebrating the 84th birthday of Israel Prize laureate Nurit Hirsh with a stirring and moving show honoring her life's work! Israel Prize laureate Nurit Hirsh will celebrate her 84th birthday on the stages of the Heichal HaTarbut auditorium and will meet on stage international singer Isaac Sutton and Israeli opera star Tal Bergman / Tom Cohen. The show features the best songs by composer Nurit Hirsh, which became the soundtrack of our lives and true anthems of Israeli music, and an inseparable part of the history of the State of Israel. The evening's repertoire will include, among others, the following songs that have become classics of Israeli music: "Next Year" (Bashana Haba'ah), "Lilac Flower" (Perach HaLilach), "To Walk Captive After You" (Lalechet Shvi Acharecha), "Nechama", "Somewhere" (Ey Sham), "Avanivi", "He Makes Peace in His Heights" (Oseh Shalom Bimromav), "The Ballad of the Policeman" (HaBalada LaShoter), "Achi Ya Rav", "In the Orchard by the Trough" (BaPardes Lid HaShoket), "Angel from Jacob's Ladder" (Malach MeSulam Ya'akov), "Behold, Days Are Coming" (Hine Yamim Ba'im), "Give Me Your Hand" (Tni Li Yad), and more... The reviews are full of praise! "If you are looking for two hours of peace for yourselves and for all of Israel, you may not need help from heaven. Just get a ticket to the magnificent joint show by Hirsh and Sutton before the tour ends" (Jerusalem Post). "An evening of pure joy! Run!" (Tzipi Shochat, Haaretz). "A nostalgic and exciting musical show... the show has no dull moment. It is highly entertaining and captivating. The very fact that the show flies by, with the pleasantness and passion of its captivating music, makes this entertainment at its best" (Haim Noy, Haaretz). "Isaac Sutton, one of the best bass-baritone singers in our country, a talented and charismatic performer who manages to captivate and excite the audience with his powerful and steady singing and his delivery, which combines measured and well-calculated acting" (The Marker). "Forget the parks and the Caesarea amphitheater for a moment, leave everything behind — if you appreciate and love music for its own sake, if you know how to appreciate internationally polished performers, reserve yourselves a show with a first-rate bass-baritone singer, with a velvety tone in his voice, who gives the audience a full hour and a half, including duets that are stunningly beautiful musically. This is an hour and a half of pure delight for the ears, with excellent songs, seasoned with connecting segments that bring a smile and leave you wanting more" (Yuval Arel, culture correspondent). "An evening delivered with love and bursting talent... a deep and moving voice... a most enjoyable evening that casts a magical smile" (HaBama).
