Cuban singer Evelyn Dupuy, one of the voices most identified with the deep soul of Cuba, comes to Jazz Ham with a special tribute show to the Buena Vista Social Club — the project that brought back to the world the magic of Cuban son, bolero, and cha-cha-cha. Alongside her, singer Daniel Lopez Montejo, an artist with deep Cuban roots, will perform, and together their voices will bring to the stage the harmony, warmth, and authenticity of traditional music. They will be accompanied by a Cuban ensemble that gives the show the full sound of Havana. Also performing is Fernando Knopf (electric bass), who is also the musical director and one of the leading figures of the Latin music scene in Israel. The show will feature beloved classics from the Buena Vista Social Club, including: Dos Gardenias, Chan Chan, El Cuarto de Tula, Quizás, Quizás, Quizás. An evening full of soul, rhythm, and longing — a true Cuban celebration that brings the Buena Vista spirit back to the stage in full force!
