Cuban singer Evelyn Dupuy, one of the voices most closely identified with the soul of Cuba's depths, brings a night of hot jazz with a special tribute show to the Buena Vista Social Club — the project that brought back to the world the magic of Cuban son, bolero and cha-cha-cha. Alongside her will perform singer Daniel Lopez Montejo, an artist with deep Cuban roots, and together their voices will bring to the stage the harmony, warmth and authenticity of traditional music. They will be accompanied by a Cuban ensemble that gives the show the full sound of Havana. Joining them will be Fernando Knopf on electric bass, who is also the musical director and one of the leaders of the Latin music scene in Israel. The show will feature beloved classics from the Buena Vista Social Club, including: "Dos Gardenias," "Chan Chan," "El Cuarto de Tula," "Quizás, Quizás, Quizás." An evening full of soul, rhythm and longing — a true Cuban celebration that brings the Buena Vista spirit back to the stage in full force!
