Violinist Yonatan Sela'i and pianist Michael Zaretzkel present a wide-ranging program for violin and piano. At the heart of the concert is Beethoven's Sonata No. 9 ("Kreutzer") — a work of extraordinary emotional power that became the direct inspiration for Tolstoy's famous novella The Kreutzer Sonata. The program is rounded out by Mozart's Sonata in B-flat major (K. 378), Dvořák's Sonatina Op. 100, and virtuoso gems by Sarasate and Kreisler.
