Music: Miron Minster. Directing: Gama Fried. "Pinocchio" is a dazzling, enchanting musical, brimming with humor, inspiration and the joy of storytelling. The play was created by Ephraim Sidon and Miron Minster, inspired by Carlo Collodi's famous classic story — a work that speaks to young children and to adults who still carry within them a childlike curiosity that has never faded. At the heart of the story stands Geppetto, an old, lonely carpenter who devotes his days to woodworking but has longed for years for one wish — a son who will fill his home with warmth and life. One day Geppetto decides to carve a wooden puppet in the shape of a boy, and when it stands before him he names it Pinocchio. Miraculously, the Blue Fairy hears his secret wish and brings the puppet to life, giving it a pulsing spark of life. But for Pinocchio, this awakening is not an ending but a beginning — the start of a wide-ranging, moving and multifaceted journey. On his journey he is accompanied by the Cricket, who serves as his loyal conscience and guide, and following a series of surprising encounters and adventures — some funny, some moving, and at times even challenging — Pinocchio sets out on the deepest journey of all: the journey to become the best version of himself, and to fulfill his greatest dream of all — to be a real boy. Featuring: Yigal Sadeh, Asaf Zalmanovich, Ronit Apel, Hila Shalev, Nir Zelichovsky, Nil Mash'an, Yoav Milstein, Gal Goldstein / Ofek Zarko, Gal Shitrit.
