From Bach to Gershwin is a piano recital by Omri Mor at the hall in the city of Herzliya, bridging the classical repertoire, jazz, and his own original music. The program features works by Bach and the American music of Gershwin alongside Mor's own compositions. Through their encounter, it examines the relationship between written composition and improvisation, and between musical tradition and interpretive freedom. About the pianist: Omri Mor is a pianist, composer and arranger whose musical world combines classical music, jazz and Arab-Andalusian music.
