Opera Without Words — the new program by Music Code. How many words do you need to hear an opera? Music already has everything: love and jealousy, comedy and tragedy, heroes and complete stories. Famous arias, duets and overtures from the works of Mozart, Rossini, Bizet, Verdi, Tchaikovsky and Strauss are given new life — without singing, performed by a piano trio. Here every instrument becomes a voice and a character. The violin confesses its love, the cello argues and suffers, and the piano creates a whole world around them. The familiar opera stories unfold anew — without a single word. On the program — concert paraphrases and transcriptions on themes from famous operas: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart — "The Magic Flute," "The Marriage of Figaro" Georges Bizet — "Carmen" Giuseppe Verdi — "Rigoletto" Pyotr Tchaikovsky — "Eugene Onegin" Johann Strauss — "Die Fledermaus" On stage: Lev Solodovnikov — violin, concertmaster of the Haifa Symphony Orchestra Daniel Mann — cello, member of the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra Georgy Kantor — piano, winner of international competitions and founder of Music Code "Opera Without Words" — music that needs no words. (Slight changes to the program are possible.)
