"Opera Without Words" — the new program by Music Code. How many words does it take to hear an opera? Music already has it all: love and jealousy, comedy and tragedy, heroes and complete stories. Famous arias, duets, and overtures from the works of Mozart, Rossini, Bizet, Verdi, Tchaikovsky, Strauss, and Gershwin come to new life — without singing, performed by a piano trio. Here, every instrument becomes a voice and a character. The violin confesses its love, the cello argues and suffers, and the piano builds a whole world around them. The familiar opera stories unfold anew — without a single word. The program includes concert paraphrases and transcriptions on themes from famous operas: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart — "The Magic Flute," "The Marriage of Figaro," "Don Giovanni." Georges Bizet — "Carmen." Gioachino Rossini — "William Tell." Giuseppe Verdi — "Rigoletto." Pyotr Tchaikovsky — "Eugene Onegin." Johann Strauss — "Die Fledermaus." George Gershwin — "Porgy and Bass." On stage: Lev Solodovnikov — violin, concertmaster of the Haifa Symphony Orchestra. Daniel Mann — cello, member of the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra. Georgy Kantor — piano, winner of international competitions and founder of Music Code. "Opera Without Words" — music that doesn't need words. (The program is subject to minor changes.)
