We are proud to open a new season of our chamber recital series with a performance by the internationally acclaimed pianist Oksana Yablonskaya, one of the last of the 20th-century Russian piano golden generation and a revered teacher who taught, among other places, at the Juilliard School in New York. At the heart of the recital, ahead of the 200th anniversary of Beethoven's death to be marked in 2027, is the beloved Sonata No. 17, known as "The Tempest", along with Mendelssohn's "Songs Without Words", Mazurkas by Chopin, and Preludes by Rachmaninoff.
