The sweeping beat of the drums, the hypnotic whirl of the boleadoras, and the explosive energy of the malambo — in the new show FOREVER GAUCHO, the Argentine troupe MALEVO, celebrated internationally, transforms the traditional gaucho dance into a powerful, contemporary stage spectacle. Virtuosic choreography, a dizzying rhythm, and perfect synchronization. MALEVO combines the classic techniques of Argentine malambo with contemporary dance, creating a show full of power, passion, and pure adrenaline. MALEVO gained international recognition after reaching the semifinals of the American TV show America's Got Talent. The troupe was officially appointed cultural ambassador of the Argentina brand (Marca País Argentina), and has performed as part of the Royal Variety Performance at the Royal Albert Hall in London, in the presence of members of the British royal family, as well as on prestigious stages including the Sydney Opera House, the Peacock Theatre in London, and the Israeli Opera in Tel Aviv. MALEVO's founder and choreographer, Matías Jaime, created the malambo choreography for Ricky Martin's residency show in Las Vegas. The troupe has also performed at a special Cirque du Soleil event and has toured North America, Europe, Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
