Brief overview by sababa.events
The art of liberation. In liminal moments, something cracks open. Through that crack comes an invitation to surrender into a space of contemplation and wonder — free territory where all our defenses, pressures, logic, and inhibitions are temporarily suspended. Letgo leads the audience through a space of seven gates of liberating experiences, embodied through live electronic music, vocals, performance, dance, and design. At each gate, the creators explore another layer in the physical and emotional process of renewal and transformation. The show invites viewers to examine, observe, and feel the almost radical act of letting go of the forms we know. Letgo is an immersive, two-directional show, during which the audience splits into two groups that move through the Tao complex on opposite paths — the experience differs, but the understanding is the same. Letgo was created as a one-of-a-kind collaboration between Theater Klipa and the Tao Culture Center. The work is in dialogue with the space itself, which shaped its path and movement. ** Viewing the show involves walking — please wear comfortable shoes.
