Leonard Cohen, a poet who sang his life and lived his poetry. A journey into the writing of Leonard Cohen the poet. Leonard is better known through his sung songs, but his great power lies in his writing as a poet. Writing that bursts and cries out from his life and experiences. A one-time encounter with the man who stretched the limits. After finding himself in Israel during the Yom Kippur War, among the shells, he returns for one evening, to the place he loved, once again in wartime, and he has something to tell us about wars, love, children, and God.
