Different lives on remote islands - stories from various islands at the edges of the globe: Greenland, Spitsbergen, Robinson Crusoe Island, the Falkland Islands, the Galápagos Islands. The birthplace of Darwin's theory of evolution, and landscapes of animals and people. Lecturer: Dandan Bolotin, ethnobotanist from Tel Aviv University, biologist, professional traveler, and research expedition leader. He worked for about four years in the rainforests of Ecuador on a joint project of Tel Aviv University, the New York Botanical Garden, and the Catholic University of Quito. During his work, Dandan reached places where no "Western" person had ever set foot before.
