Various tenants arrive at the building, among them: an ant, a rabbit, a pig, a nightingale, and a dove. Who will rent the apartment? A lavish stage production with stunning sets and colorful costumes. A new, musical, and spectacular adaptation of Leah Goldberg's well-known story. Featuring 5 actors. The show is approved for the Sal Tarbut Artzi and Tarbut LeYisrael national culture programs. Adaptation and direction: Ronen Goldfarb. Sets and production: Niv Manor. Music and musical direction: Liat Perlov. Costumes and masks: Limor Hershko. Actors: Mirit Pargon/Michal Atlas, Betty Kushchi/Chen Bar, Mirit Pargon/Shirley Lilo, Heilit Deitch Shani/Maayan Ashkenazi, Yaron Menashe/Tom Idelson. The reviews are full of praise: "The play 'An Apartment for Rent' by 'Our Theater' is a relevant adaptation that, on one hand, honors Goldberg's language and speaks in her rhyming spirit, but on the other hand gives the text a polite nudge in the right places. By the end of the show, the audience understood that this is a play about friendship, racism, and hatred of the stranger" ("Yedioth Ahronoth", Gafi Amir)
