An ultimate Israeli classic, telling of the values of friendship, loyalty, tolerance, and love for one's fellow man. In the adaptation by "Our Theater," the story became a show that is "stunning, carefully crafted, full of interest, and made out of great love for children" (according to a review in a parents-and-children magazine). This is a musical show, in which Leah Goldberg's words were adapted into original songs by Ronen Goldfarb, with the music composed, as always, by Liat Perlov. Children aged 3 to 9, who have surely heard — and perhaps even read themselves — "Apartment for Rent," will no doubt be delighted to see the beloved characters brought to new life on stage — singing, dancing, and living out the eternal conflict between all of our small and large flaws and the need to respect and accept one another, without prejudice and without unrealistic demands. Adaptation and direction: Ronen Goldfarb Peled. Set design and production: Niv Manor. Melodies and musical direction: Liat Perlov Meiri. Costumes and masks: Ella Kolsnik. Cast: Tamar Shtein/Michal Atlas, Betty Kushchi/Chen Bar, Hila Yarhi/Shirly Lilo, Sivan Kinner/Emilia Ravid, Yaron Menashe/Tom Idelson.
