The doors and restaurant will open at 19:00. It's recommended to arrive close to door-opening time. A performance as part of the marathon series: 'Flew In to Vote – Invited to Perform.' A rare opportunity to enjoy wonderful Israeli musicians who are making it abroad, and to show appreciation for their coming from afar, especially to take part in the elections. Meital Waldman, an Israeli jazz singer with a soft, unique velvet voice, moves between jazz, Broadway, Brazilian music (from the home she grew up in), and Israeli music. In recent years Waldman has been based in New York, where she has performed on acclaimed stages such as Dizzy's Club at Lincoln Center, Birdland, The Triad Theater, and more. On her latest album, Kisufim, she returns to the Israeli musical heritage through a personal interpretation that connects traditional staples, jazz, memory, and longing. This performance by Meital will radiate optimism and a spirit of change as she sings jazz and Israeli music, with touches of American folk, excerpts from Kisufim, and new interpretations created especially for this evening. She will also host special and surprising guests. Meital Waldman – vocals Katya Tuvul – piano Tal Ronen – double bass Uri Zelig – drums
