A Tony Award-winning play! Israeli premiere! A drama about life and death, art, friendship, and the generation gap. The painter Mark Rothko, one of the leading artists of abstract expressionism, is commissioned for a considerable sum to paint a series of murals for the Four Seasons restaurant being built in New York. He agrees, but is filled with anxiety as he is forced to confront the clash between the commercial act and his own artistic values, and with his young, charismatic assistant, who brings with him the scent of a new era that threatens to leave him irrelevant.
