In the kingdom beyond the mountain, the princess of the Kingdom of Nonsense lives in a completely opposite world — where everything is a game, and any problem is solved with laughter. When the boat of Seriousness washes up on an unfamiliar shore, he meets the Queen of Silliness and plunges into her colorful and wondrous world. She teaches him to laugh, imagine, and dream, and he teaches her the depth of thought, the importance of order and discipline, navigation, wind directions, and the northern stars. Despite the differences between them, they are full of excitement and curiosity about the new world that has opened up to them, and they even manage to become friends — until a serious quarrel breaks out in the middle of the sea, making them think that the difference between them is too great and that they will never be able to overcome it. Angry and disappointed, they each return to their own kingdom. Days pass, the anger is forgotten, and they feel that something is missing... and, faced with a problem, they remember what they learned from each other. When they realize how much they miss and how much they need each other, they meet again and prove to everyone that silliness and seriousness are complementary opposites that only together create a whole and perfect world. A captivating and touching musical performance about friendship, about balance and harmony, about new and wondrous worlds that, if we know how to accept them into our hearts, will make life much more interesting.
