Premiere at the Israeli Comedy Festival. A burekas parody musical. Yehuda Burekas is a shy, stuttering loser, ever since a fatal burekas accident in his childhood. Yehuda is in love with Tzomet Lev, daughter of the owner of the local karaoke bar. One karaoke night he gets up to perform (to impress Tzomet), and discovers that he is the "Karaoke King." A wicked talent agent discovers him, and Yehuda wins money and fame, but along the way gives up his beloved and his identity. When Yehuda learns that Tzomet is about to marry another man, he returns to the town to try to win her love. Will Yehuda manage to win Tzomet? Will he manage to save the karaoke bar that's in danger of closing? And what does a protein burekas taste like? All this and more in the burekas parody musical, "The Karaoke King – The Legend of Yehuda Burekas." Creators and writers: Tomer Fishman, Tal Tirangel and Lika Mishne Galanta.
