Love Is a Song for Two - Chani Nechemias and Yehuda Elias, a symbol of love on stage and in life, meet Maestro Gil Shohat in a show that is entirely a love song - love between partners, love for our memories, and love for our country! Chani Nechemias and Yehuda Elias take the stage together with the most Israeli, most moving, and most beloved songs, with an emphasis on the great Israeli theater and film songs of all time. Nechemias, the celebrated actress and singer, one of the leading figures of Israeli musical theater and winner of Israeli Theater Awards in a variety of roles and fields, joins forces with Elias, the legendary lead vocalist of the Northern Command band, the beloved singer, actor, and comedian. Together they weave a love story - for themselves and for the country, for our tormented land, which needs our love and our songs more than ever. All of this is wrapped by Maestro Gil Shohat and his musicians in an evening of songs, combined with masterpieces by Vivaldi, Bizet, Beethoven, and Mozart. Performers: Chani Nechemias, Yehuda Elias, Edi Reznik - virtuoso violinist, Nati Cohen - drums and percussion, Chaya Yoshea - double bass, Polyphonia Ensemble, Gil Shohat - piano, conducting, musical direction, arrangements, editing and hosting.
