How to Pack Elephants, from the Orna Porat Theater - a funny, imaginative and moving musical play about the things that give us stability in life, about family, about friendship, and about the ability to cope with change. Leila the little elephant loves things to stay just as they are. Her home is orderly, her parents are always there, and everything has its fixed place. Soon she will have a baby sister, but for now her world feels safe and familiar. On her birthday, in the middle of the party, her parents announce that they are about to move house. Leila refuses to accept the news. This is her home, and she's not willing to give it up so quickly! Through amusing, original and heartwarming attempts, and with the help of her friend Gouri, Leila tries to stop the move, but she gets herself into trouble and finds herself far from the people she loves most. A special meeting with Grandma Gloria opens a window to a slightly different way of looking at things. With her help, Leila discovers that you can't always stop change - but you can go through it together. A funny, imaginative and moving musical play about the things that give us stability in life, about family, about friendship, and about the ability to cope with change.
