Doors open at 19:00. Arriving close to doors-open is recommended. Itay Perl doesn't perform often — he's raising two daughters and running a bar in Be'er Sheva — and we feel it's our duty to you, the audience that knows how to appreciate what's good, and also a great pleasure for us, to invite him back to the festival again and again after his successful performances at previous festivals. This time Itay will appear in a superb acoustic lineup with a guest, the Be'er Sheva-based singer and guitarist Nadav Azulay. Itay will deliver some of the finest original Hebrew blues-rock-folk around. He already has six studio albums and countless collaborations behind him, and has won the prestigious ACUM award — one of the most wonderful singer-songwriters to emerge here. He presents his beautiful songs with outstanding musicians, a captivating voice, and stage charisma. Perl's love affair with the blues and with the parched south (even though he's originally from Tzfat...) began already on his fourth, perfect album, "Blues Journey," and continued on his fifth album, "Arava Hotel." Perl's sharp lyrics (yes, political too) are woven into authentic Hebrew blues from the Negev, beautiful ballads from the Arava, and outbursts of Israeli road rock. His musical activity includes ongoing collaborations as a writer, composer, performer, and music producer with some of the country's finest musicians (Yoni Rechter, Dana Berger, Dan Toren, and many other greats). Highly recommended. Yair Slutzky — trombone. Dudu Hamed — electric piano. Itay Perl — guitar and vocals. Guest: Nadav Azulay — electric guitar.
