A year after the breakup, Raz still can't let go of Avigail. One night on the beach he finally tries to meet someone new, but his heart remains broken. Just as he's about to flee with an apology, his date confesses that she's actually a kind of witch, and offers to grant his secret heart's wish: to see what happened to Avigail in the year since she vanished from his life. Vision after vision, Raz watches Avigail wander between nightly encounters and discovers everything she can be when she's not with him.
