Omer loves to sing more than anything. At the family falafel stand "Benny and Sons," he sings, tosses falafel balls in the air, and warms his customers' hearts — but deep in his heart, he dreams of performing on a truly big stage. When he hears about the auditions for the city's youth band, he feels this is the opportunity he's been waiting for, and that his dream has never been closer. But reality is one thing and dreams are another. The fear of losing the opportunity and the fierce desire to succeed lead him to hide a significant part of his identity, and he spirals into a series of wrong decisions that complicate his life and hurt the people dearest to him. The show deals with the conflict between fulfilling a personal dream and family responsibility, and with the question: what is true success? Through music, mistakes, and love, Omer learns that real talent begins with honesty, and that together any obstacle can be overcome.
