A moving original play about the final, most intimate and least-known chapter in the life of poet Alexander Penn! The play moves along the timeline between the present — the final days of the renowned poet's life — and his turbulent past, full of upheavals, passion, grand ideals, alcohol, and family. The play engages with the soul-searching of a towering artist who was excluded from mainstream discourse because of his political choices, and raises the question of sacrificing talent and a creative life on the altar of ideology. The show will take place at HaChanut Theater, Tel Giborim 5, Beit Tefer building. Based on a play by: Danny Horowitz. Adaptation and direction: Dorit Nitai-Naaman. Cast: Eyal Shechter, Shira Farber, Moran Alon, Yiftach Rave, Yoav Sadovsky, Noy Yatom, Moran Reicher, Israel Maoz. Assistant director: Alma Dalal. Music: Itzik Yankelevich. Video: Naomi Ben Asa. Set design: Tzvi Feldman. Costumes: Liron Sapir. Lighting: Ronen Bachar. Movement: Sharon Shlomi Naim. Intimacy coordinator: Bassie Zolno. Thanks to: Tsinilga Eisenschreiber-Penn, Eli Wagner.
