The concert 'Voices from the Heavens,' the third in the 'Instruments and Voices' series, brings together the Israel Camerata Jerusalem with Ma'ayan Licht — an Israeli soprano singer with a rare, high range and virtuosic technique. Ma'ayan Licht specializes in early music and the Baroque repertoire. He graduated with honors in voice and early music from the Amsterdam Conservatory and performs on opera and concert stages throughout Europe. His repertoire includes works by Handel, Bach, and Mozart, alongside roles that demand vocal flexibility and an exceptional range. In 2025 he won the Oper! Award in the Discovery of the Year category. The concert is built around the encounter between the soloist's unique voice and the rich sound of a chamber orchestra. Soloist: Ma'ayan Licht – soprano. Orchestra: the Israel Camerata Jerusalem. Works by Vivaldi, Handel, Mozart, Schubert, Rossini, Mascagni, Richard Strauss, and others.
