Albert Einstein was not always considered a "genius" — as a child he was seen as strange, asking questions no one understood and even annoying his teachers. Albert struggled to adapt to the rigid German education system at school and often clashed with his teachers. His despair grew, until one day it was decided to expel him from school. Albert felt he didn't belong anywhere and that his future was bleak. Only thanks to a few teachers who recognized his unique talent was Albert convinced not to give up his great passion for science. He continued to explore and learn, and eventually became the most influential scientist of all time. The show is produced in partnership with and with the support of the Davidson Institute of Science Education, Rehovot, and the Albert Einstein Archives at the Hebrew University, Jerusalem.
