The story of Albert Einstein, the curious and rebellious boy who became the world's most famous scientist and changed the face of science. Albert Einstein wasn't always considered a "genius" — as a child he was seen as odd, asking questions no one understood and even annoying his teachers. Albert struggled to adapt to the rigid German schooling and often clashed with his teachers. His despair grew, until one day it was decided he would be expelled from school. Albert felt he belonged nowhere and that his future was bleak. Only thanks to a few teachers who recognized his unique talent was Albert persuaded not to give up his great passion for science. He continued to explore and learn, and eventually became the most influential scientist of all time. The show is produced in cooperation with and supported by the Davidson Institute of Science Education, Rehovot, and the Albert Einstein Archives at the Hebrew University, Jerusalem.
