Eli - Orna Porat Theater for Children and Youth

In order not to compromise your children's viewing experience, children and toddlers under the viewing age will not be allowed into the hall. "Eli" tells the breathtaking story of Eli Cohen, Israel's greatest spy, who managed to penetrate the very heart of the Syrian regime's leadership. Under a false identity and with extraordinary courage, Eli forged close ties with senior figures in Damascus's political and military establishment, operated from within the most sensitive centers of power, and lived day by day on a thin and dangerous line between life and death. This is the story of a man who operated at the heart of constant danger and passed on intelligence information more precious than gold — information that saved the lives of many civilians and soldiers and had a decisive impact on the security of the State of Israel. But beyond the tension and drama, "Eli" is also a profound human story of rare heroism, absolute devotion, and sacrifice of the highest order. Eli Cohen's unique methods of operation, his daring and operational skill, are still studied today by intelligence services around the world. In Israel, Eli became a national hero, and his name is commemorated in streets, schools, synagogues, public gardens and many institutions that bear his name. A fast-paced, hypnotic and gripping drama, combining emotion and power, bringing to the stage the story of Eli Cohen's life — his love, his mission and his tremendous contribution to his homeland.
