Doors open at 19:00. It is recommended to arrive close to door opening. In 1996, 'El Norra Alila,' Orphaned Land's pivotal second album, was released, deepening the band's unique language: a meeting of metal, Middle Eastern music, Jewish sources, prayer and mystical motifs. Three decades later, the album's creators return to the work, to the period in which it was born, and to the journey it has taken since. The evening will combine a conversation with the creators, hosted by Niv Arviv-Dogo, and his lecture offering a reading of 'El Norra Alila' as a psychological and spiritual journey: light and darkness, fate and choice, breaking down and rebuilding, death and rebirth, and the encounter between the human and the divine. The reading will connect depth psychology, mythology, Kabbalah and Hasidism with the symbols and texts that accompany the album. The evening will also include the launch of the 'El Nora Alila' whiskey edition - another tribute to the album and to the thirty years since its release. There may be more surprises.... The current members of Orphaned Land will perform, joined by original members of the lineup who played on the album: Yossi Sassi - a founding member of Orphaned Land; lead and acoustic guitars, vocals and production - one of the key creators of the album's musical language. Matti Svatitzky - the band's guitarist during the album's period; rhythm and acoustic guitar on the album. Sammy Bachar - the band's drummer during the album's period; drums and flute on the album, and a significant partner in creating the musical material. Lecture and hosting: Niv Arviv-Dogo - a Jungian psychotherapist and music therapist, working at the intersection of psychoanalysis, Kabbalah and Hasidism. One of Israel's leading experts in ketamine-assisted psychedelic therapy. Host of the podcast 'Navel of the World: Psychology - Mysticism - Culture.'
