An extraordinary concert in which the classical cello reveals itself in its original, natural beauty – a pure sound, free of pickups, microphones, effects, or any other gimmick. Petah Tikva hosts the renowned cellist Prof. Alexander Kaganovsky (Switzerland–Israel), joined by the excellent musician and pianist Alexander Ivanov (principal pianist of the Israeli Opera). Alexander Kaganovsky is a professor and lecturer at the International Academy of Music in Cremona (Italy). His rich repertoire spans wide-ranging periods – from Baroque music to contemporary music. He has served as principal cellist in leading orchestras in Israel and Europe, including: the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, the Basel Symphony Orchestra, the Bern Symphony Orchestra, and the Luxembourg European Soloists Orchestra.
