The Mediatech Theater's "Doctor Dolittle" is a new musical adaptation of Hugh Lofting's classic book, about the doctor whose love for animals changes his life and his clinic. Dolittle takes in stray animals at his clinic and gives them a home, but his human patients are unhappy and stop coming. Just before the clinic is about to close, Polynesia the parrot offers a surprising solution: learn the language of animals and become the city's first animal doctor. With the help of Polynesia, Dab-Dab the duck, Gub-Gub the sheep, and his loyal assistant Emma, Dolittle brings the clinic back to life, helps the city's animals, and even makes it to the circus.
