"Something Good" is a smart, moving, and humor-filled comic drama that has captivated audiences around the world thanks to the human, universal story it tells. It's a play about the bonds that shape our lives, the choices we make, and the ability to find light even in the darkest moments. Between births and partings, between love and passion, between laughter and tears, and even out on the dance floor, a moving story is woven about family, hope, and new beginnings. At the center of the plot stand three women from three generations — grandmother, mother, and granddaughter — each grappling with her own challenges, dreams, and old wounds. When life's circumstances bring them together on a shared journey, they're forced to reexamine their relationships with one another, confront old secrets, open their hearts, and dare to change. Over the course of one turbulent year, the three women experience great loves, painful losses, disappointments, partings, and moments of reckoning, but also unexpected encounters, renewed hope, and small moments of happiness that give them the strength to go on. As they grow closer to one another, they discover that you can't always change the past — but you can always choose how to move forward. This is a warm, funny, and touching story, a reminder that even when life sets tough tests before us, there's always a reason to believe, to love, and to hold on to something good.
