Charlie's father has passed away, and when the will is read it turns out the son received only... one used car. While trying to find out where the inheritance money disappeared to, Charlie discovers a shocking truth: he has an older brother named Raymond, who lives on the autism spectrum, and the entire estate was transferred to the institution where he resides. Charlie, whose financial situation is deteriorating and who is desperate to save his business from collapse, makes a drastic decision — to take Raymond on a journey across the country, hoping to somehow claim his share of the inheritance. But what begins as a desperate step turns into a moving, twist-filled journey, in which the two brothers slowly learn to open up, grow closer, and discover each other's worlds.
