A musical play for children called "The Buggies' Journey to the Land of Oz," which combines insect characters with the classic plot of "The Wizard of Oz." The story centers on the insect band "The Buggies" and their singer Perla, who are swept into a magical world following a storm caused by the grocer Nissim. During the journey, the band members take on the roles of the iconic characters—the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Lion—in order to find the wizard who will grant them a brain, a heart, and courage. Meanwhile, Debbie the bee and her agent Baz try to sabotage their way so that Debbie can take Perla's place as lead singer. In the end, the heroes discover that the qualities they sought already exist within them, and they manage to return home while showing friendship and forgiveness toward their rivals. The play emphasizes messages of self-belief, cooperation, and the understanding that there's no place like home. Original songs, catchy and moving. Magical set design and colorful costumes.
