The Wizard of Oz - Starring the Bagis - Summer 2026 (17:30)

A musical play for children called "The Bagis on a Journey to the Land of Oz," combining insect characters with the classic plot of "The Wizard of Oz." The story follows the insect band "The Bagis" and their singer Perla, who get swept into a magical world following a storm caused by grocer Nissim. During the journey, the band members take on the roles of the iconic characters — the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Lion — in order to find the Wizard who can give them a brain, a heart, and courage. Meanwhile, the bee Debi and her agent Baz try to sabotage them along the way so that Debi can take Perla's place as lead singer. In the end, the heroes discover that the qualities they were searching for were already inside them, and they manage to return home while showing friendship and forgiveness toward their rivals. The play emphasizes messages of self-belief, cooperation, and the understanding that there's no place like home. Original, catchy, and moving songs, magical sets and colorful costumes, humor that resonates with both children and parents, an empowering message about friendship, self-belief, and inner strength.
