A musical play for children called "The Buggies' Journey to the Land of Oz," combining insect characters with the classic plot of "The Wizard of Oz." The story follows the insect band "The Buggies" and their singer Perla, who are swept into a magical world after a storm stirred up by Nissim, the grocery store owner. During the journey, the band members take on the iconic roles — the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Lion — in order to find the wizard who will give them a brain, a heart, and courage. Meanwhile, Debbie the bee and her agent Baz try to sabotage their way so that Debbie can take Perla's place as lead singer. In the end, the heroes discover that the qualities they were looking for already exist within them, and they manage to return home while showing friendship and forgiveness toward their rivals. The play emphasizes messages of self-belief, cooperation, and the understanding that there's no place like home. Original, catchy, and moving songs. Magical set design and colorful costumes. Humor that touches both children and parents. An empowering message about friendship, self-belief, and inner strength. This is an experiential, colorful, and heartfelt musical that reminds us all: sometimes we search for magic far away… but home, friends, and heart are the real magic.
